Former Vol traded to Dodgers from Colorado

Former Tennessee pitcher Seth Halvorsen was traded from Colorado to the Dodgers on Monday.
He was traded to the Dodgers for outfielder Landyn Vidourek, Los Angeles' No. 25 prospect, and pitcher Nick Frasso.

Halvorsen, 26, recently had a rehab start for Albuquerque, the Rockies' Triple-A affiliate, after being placed on the 15-day injured list since July 4 due to shoulder inflammation. He pitched one scoreless inning for the Isotopes on Sunday.
Halvorsen has split time between Albuquerque and the Rockies this season. He recorded a 4.74 ERA, allowing 15 walks and totaling 17 strikeouts for Colorado before going on the injured list. The former Vol has played parts of three seasons with the Rockies.
Halvorsen was selected by Colorado in the seventh-round (No. 202 overall) of the 2023 MLB draft. He was with the Vols from 2022-23, but did not play in 2022 due to injury.
